Hot-formed structural round steel pipe is carbon steel rolled at a temperature above its recrystallization point (usually about 1000 degrees Fahrenheit). When steel is heated beyond the recrystallization point, it becomes more ductile and forms easily. So thermoformed round steel pipes are easy to cut, weld, form and machine.
The dimensions and characteristics of thermoformed structural round tubes are in accordance with EN10210-1, and the tolerances are in accordance with EN10210-2.
Hot-formed steel pipes have good strength and weldability, complete stress relief, and uniform mechanical properties.
The advantages of this type of steel pipe are: increased durability, improved toughness, ease of processing, ease of welding, and more affordable than cold-rolled steel pipe.
As hot-rolled steel pipes cool, they shrink unevenly, making it difficult to precisely control the size and shape of the finished hot-rolled steel pipe.

The diameter of the hot-formed structure round steel pipe can be up to 1219mm, and the normal supply length is 6m~12m, but other lengths of 4m~16m can be provided upon request. Additionally, other lengths are available upon request.
